As a Data Scientist Intern at COUNTRY Financial, I strengthened the company’s data and analytics ecosystem by developing scalable ETL and ML-driven solutions. I automated 750+ Zena data lake jobs, optimizing ingestion, curation, and orchestration pipelines to improve performance tracking, dependency management, and runtime analysis. My work streamlined operational analytics and elevated overall system efficiency across enterprise platforms.

Beyond core data engineering, I implemented predictive models (GLM, GBM) to forecast claim counts from 47 policyholder variables - enhancing pricing accuracy and underwriting risk segmentation. I also evaluated LLMs using 500+ pages of text data, leveraging LangChain and LlamaIndex to improve document search precision and optimize chunking strategies for data-driven retrieval and evaluation.
